US: The Mandalorian

Now, would I be right in saying that the correct, and only, adjective to use for that is 'Epic'? The moment "Just one X-Wing?" arrived and docked and that green lightsabre appeared I have to admit this grown man squealed like a little child inside. And, according to the post credits scene, we get a Boba Fett show late next year too

Holy **** that last 5 minutes was better than anything in the entire sequel trilogy.

Can I just point out how bloody dumb Mando is though? He throws everything at a single Dark Trooper and barely makes a scratch until he uses his spear. An army of Dark Troopers stands on the other side of the doors and he pulls out his ******* blaster.

You know what? The reaction in this thread really warms my heart.
You don't need to inject modern politics into Star Wars because Star Wars is already for everyone.
All they have to do is be respectful to that Galaxy far far away and they will reap the rewards.
Some people will yell gate keeping but they don't get it and never will.
They should have used Sebastian Stan instead of the deep fake. Tell me this isn’t good enough...

The hair has been lifted on to Seb, but facially its bang on.

There are rumours they are going full on to try and get him signed up for a Luke TV show.
How is Ming-Na Wen so gorgeous

Just a great all round series.
The Boss belongs in Star wars. She was starting to steal the show last night with her epicness.

Has he done a single thing in the entire 2 series that makes you think he is intelligent? :p

To be honest, I did wonder why he didn't just pull out the Darksabre when the Dark Troopers started banging at the doors - it cuts through everything bar pure beskar.

For once I shall say that I didn't enjoy the overall episode. Until the last 10mins I was actually rather bored. From that point onwards though it was very emotional I have to admit.

They did a superb job with the Dark Troopers, they were actually damn scary manhandling Mando the way it did. Ming Na Wen though - Absolutely gorgeous, has to be said.

Was that the season finale then? :o

I’m finding the show much more enjoyable since I disabled my higher brain functions halfway through series one and now I just “ooh and ahh” at the shiny things and Baby Yoda.

My wife on why it took the Dark Troopers so long to return to the Imperial ship: “Did they have to download a new version of EviliOS so they could figure out how to get back onboard?”

Well that was of course all kinds of epic and I’m glad I stayed out of here yesterday with all the spoilers...

I agree with the comments about Wen too, stole the show IMO, looking forward to next year.

As we know we have another season are we expecting to see mando rise to the throne of mandalor? That seems to be the only thread left mainly unresolved.

I think 3 seasons and they may call it done with boba taking over in December.

Star Wars is all about the trilogies at the end of the day.

.

True but at that point there was multiple weapons pointed at the door and the machine gun Carano was carrying, more firepower might have done the trick.

Great episode, but I am getting a bit tired of the complete ineptitude of storm troopers! Those guys wiped out everyone on that ship without even looking like they were trying!

You're not alone. I spotted the black glove and was like 'sure not'! Alas, it was emotional and amazing! Just wow!
Same. Saw the X-Wing and thought who could that be. Then the cloaked figure had me going huh....then I saw the glove and the green saber and straight away noticed the fighting style. It totally in that 10 minutes made up for the last trilogy.

Favreau and Filoni should have been put in charge of Star Wars movies.

And can someone explain the glove? I did notice it and thought it must relate to the movie where he gets it cut off......but I'm not really sure the significance of it.

If you watched Starwars Episode 5, you'll see why the glove is of significance. There is only 1 character who wears a single black glove.
