This band came up whilst I was streaming Meshuggah radio on Last.FM. I bought the album straight away.

So, who's seen Rammstein's new Pussy video? (No, I'm not going to link - not even remotely safe for work). It's hilarious, but not up to the musical standard of his older stuff.

The music is mediocre at best. Let's hope the album is better.

It's a nice tune but the lyrics are beyond ridiculous.

I know, half the fun of Rammstein is the silly lyrics. But there's a pretty massive gap between their new track and something like Amerika!

The band now has Adrian Erlandsson on drums although he didn't do the album recordings.

I have a confession to make.
A couple of days ago I came across a band called Warmen who are amazing.
They are a bit Metal/Prog with an amazing keyboard player but the singing isn't that strong.
I then looked up Warmen to find it is the keyboard player out of Children Of Bodom of whom I listened to a bit of one track over 10 years ago and decided I wouldn't bother again.
I then decided to listen to them again and today have decided they are bloody amazing.
Fantastic musicianship, bit of prog thrown in and the voice not too daft.
I can't believe I've missed them this last 10 years or so.

Yea Bodom are brilliant, I didn't like them at first myself, but gave them a bit of time.

I think Follow The Reaper is my favourite album.

I really like this band, shame they keep changing vocalists, I love the clean bit before the solo, adds a real atmospheric feel along with the backing chords, and the drumming at the start (and throughout) is awesome, like a big build up with the snare.

Newer stuff.

Feels like I posted it in this thread before, definitely somewhere else anyway.

Children of Bodoms first 3 albums are good but I wouldn't bother with AYDY or the latest one, trash in comparison to the old stuff.

Probably their best song.

Blooddrunk is better than 'Are You Dead Yet?' for sure, but the first two tracks of it are great.

Nope, I thought Behemoth and Enslaved had decent new albums. The Rammstein one seems good so far and the new Immortal stuff is great.

Behemoth and Immortal have exactly the same sound as they did 10 years ago. It's good stuff.
