Just found this band, probably really late to finding them :)

this is the video which peaked my interest:
this seems to be the most played song:

Listened to a few tracks, they seem pretty cool with various styles mixed in

The last CC album was probably my least favourite of the Fisher era - still decent mind because they can't make a bad album - but I still pine heavily for the different song-writing styles of the Vile through to Wretched Spawn era when you had Jack Owen in the band.

NickK, Meshuggah is probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Amazing music, really beats the crap out of you, and the light show was ridicously good too. Even though I could only get a seated ticket I left the venue feeling exhausted. I love Bleed, such an amazing song

Been digging this album, was never a fan back in the day as I found them very "death metal by numbers", really enjoying this one though, glad I checked it out

See this is CC's best quality, they are so generic but they just have...i dunno the energy? they hit like a ******* truck live, and they are so consistant, they have no actual bad albums.Deffo a band a that you have to see live, just to say you have seen them. The 2000 live album 'Live cannibalism' is deffo worth checking out if you dont know their stuff too well, has all the 'classics'.

Next week Opeth are playing in Birmingham. Mate wants to go. But we are in London and I am a bit meh at the thought of a two hour+ train/car trip there and back on a Wed.

What do you think?

I'm a lot less snobby about my death metal nowadays, for a while in the late 80's and early 90's I'd heard that much of it CC hardly registered on my radar. Listening back I feel like I've done them a bit of a disservice, been spinning the early stuff this week.

they are playing near me soon but not going to bother
i've seen enslaved (who are supporting) and they were good
