Couldn't see one of these, and thought it'd be interesting to see what we're all getting. Post some basic car info, and your average MPG, and your driving style and your most common road type (In town, motorway etc) :)

My car's the good old Rover 416i, I manage about 37-40mpg, drive pretty hard (change down at 4.5k ish, and do mostly A-roads mixed with a bit of in-town driving.

Go forth and post! :D

hehe not so good for me

Mondeo ST220, general round town driving pottering around in 5th/6th I get around 25mpg.

fast run on a roads around 18-20mpg

Long motorway runs with cruise control on anything between 33-40mpg

Peugeot 306 HDi (3 door)

If I hoon it 42mpg..

If I use the car properly.. and change gear properly, 50+ MPG :)

Nothing
0MPG

 :D :p

Previous car, don't know, never could be bothered to work it out, and to be honest I've never cared, I use as much as I use. Next car will be something fun that most likely drinks fuel, because I don't care. :)

Golf Match 1.4L.

42MPG

Mainly drive on country roads and town roads. Little to no motorways.

Best I've done is 505 miles on a tank (55 litre tank)

Primera 2.0 Sport+

Was averaging 34mpg last year but now upped that to just under 39mpg by keeping an eye on my tyre pressures and driving like a nun.

Bimmer E46 323 gets me 39-40 on the motorway (really need a sixth gear!) and anything like 25-30 in town/hoonage.

Pug 207, usually 42mpg combined, can get 60ish on a run. Currently got 65.6mpg on the run back from the petrol station :D

Shame that's all downhill :(

BMW M5 (5.0 V8)

Average: about 20 MPG
Motorway: around 26

I don't tend to do much town driving - most my jouneys are on NSL roads and motorways.
