The New Cases Gallery

I never stopped! :D Love the V351

Which fans have you got strapped to your megahalems?

Well that V351 was my first Lian Li and the build quality + design meant I took no convincing buying the P50.

They're Scythe Kaza Jyuni 1900rpm i think. They're pretty noisy at full whack but cool as your gonna get, hooked up to my Zalman controller keeping them quiet isnt a problem :D

Looks really nice BIGBC.

I wish people would refrain from quoting pics, there really isn't any need tbh, it's just annoying!!!

I am so glad that I decided to go for WC, however, the amount of cash I've spent on WC stuff alone is quite mad!!!

Regarding that first Lian Li case you posted, I was curious as to why you never routed the PCIe cables behind the mobo tray and through the hole into the cards?

It would look a lot tidier if you did it like that imo, instead of having them go up the side of the 5.25" bays..

Apart from that it looks really nice.

I'm goint to get myself a prolimatech, so those fans are officially now on my potential hit list  maybe a rheostat would be a good idea... anyway, both nice setups :)

This way it is as out of the way of airflow as you can hope for. I did originally have it running around the back but it only really hid 30% of the cable and didnt look as direct, which bugged me :p

These Corsair PSU cables are a little bit more awkward to manipulate I find. Though they do look neater.

They are quality fans but a fan controller is definitely a plus. Keep my 3.8GHz under 60 @load with some MX3.

Just took another 3 pictures. A new camera, so I'm chumming it. I'm getting better with the settings tho :D I think she looks nicer in the day

Thats a nice clean build the Red & black combo look very nice, it's made me go & buy some more parts for my build.
Gave me the kick I needed to get a move on :)

Here is my fractal design define R2 midi tower case

I genuinly hate it. Used it a few times back when it wasnt overpriced for what it is on a few cheaper builds.

Whats wrong with it though? you seem to have a lot of anger towards it :D

The majority of things.
Power/reset button,
Noise,
Airflow,
Build quality,
Stock fans,
Cable management,
Internal space.

Getting angry at a case is a silly suggestion :p

and the ghetto cable tie helping my H50 along :D

Is it just me or do you have those fans going in conflicting directions?

Power button is fine, reset button is impossible to press :|
Noise in mine is pretty decent, quieter than the macbook sitting next to me. Although is does seem to be just as noisy with the panels off
Can't really comment on airflow, but my temps seem pretty decent
Stock fans are pretty poor if you want to dynamically control speed or have decent airflow/noise ratio
Cable manage is non existant
And it's a very small case to try and get hands around to put parts in

I'm still waiting for Fractal to release a bigger version of R2 or something, any big case just looks ugly

The majority of things.
Power/reset button, Work fine for me? And the reset buttons supposed to be hard to press anyway. :P
Noise, Granted not brilliant, think mine has a reverberation/echo effect thing going on
Airflow, seems fine on mine? Even with my vcore at 1.55v I can run the CPU fan on the silent setting.
Build quality, It's not bad for a £40 case, in fact it's excellent, very sturdy and strong, just a bit industrial in places.
Stock fans, Utter garbage, I've replaced mine with Xigmateks
Cable management, It can be done as with any case, just needs some chopping to be done to the case!
Internal space. Not amazing but not really a problem, it is a midi tower after all, you can fit 5870s in them as far as I know aswell.

Just thought I'd add my feedback, not arguing or anything. This is what I've found with mine, and I'm actually very happy with it!
