Holy god man. Get something better than that to house those components in.

Not only does it look awful its brings a cheapness aspect into a build thats cost a pretty penny.

Why people insist that the 300 is any good still beggers belief imo. Cant count the number of times Ive nearly slung one out of the window when building, I'm positive theres more space in my shoe.

So much more cases available for about the same money, you just have to look around.

As an owner of a 300, I have to agree, I built an i5 system in mine yesterday, what a ballache :o, deffo looking for a new case. I was looking at a fractal R2, but seeing a few problems with these, in regards to build quality and finish. Any reccomendations?

Ill second the Lancool, it is pretty much the same case as my Lian Li only the exteriors are plastic. Internals are superb quality.

Lancool PC-K62 Dragon Lord.

Best £80 that could possibly be spent on a case.

Thanks for that, but doesn't suit me. I need more HDD bays, I don't have any need for optical drive bays. I know I can get some adapters... but I'd rather not ;)

Then I'd be sniffing at the Coolermaster CM690 II, its got 6 HDD bays. I haven't used one yet but if its anything like the CM690 I it wont dissapoint.

I want to build a new computer just for the hell of it. I love the satisfaction of completing a new build, no matter what the specs are. Might consider building and selling, is that lucrative?

Gave my Lian Li A70FB a bit of a tidy.

New gpu going into it next week, and hopefully a modular psu soon.

If your after space for more hdd's, i can definitely reccomend the Lian Li a70/71fb series, 11 3.5" drive bays.

hux,

I've been thinking about getting this case for quite a while, I think it's absolutely gorgeous and I didn't realise that it included the red LEDs until seeing your post, looks amazing!

Any chance you could get a photo with the window on in the dark showing the side of the case? :D
@hux: Looks a sweet case, can we get a window-side view with panel and lights on?

Sorry for the late response i don't normally look in here, sure i'll see what i can do later on though the cpu and rear exhaust are regular black thermaright fans, for performance you understand. ;)

The rear exhaust is normall a red led fan as well, they come up quite bright actually and the case was so easy to work on, all cables are tucked away nicely though they might not appear to be, took me a while to hide it all mind.

i would like a fairly small case but still have plenty room for hdds, apart from the fractal design, anyone any other suggestions?
