Yep, sata cable will definitely be the cheaper option lol.:D. Like how youve been able to get the main power cabe behind the mobo tray, impossible with my hx 850w, cable is too thick and makes it impossibe to get the side panel back on.
 
the braiding on the seasonic was just loose enough that i could flatten the cable a bit and the panel slid on fine after that :)

i forgot to take a pic of the back :( but its just all the cables tied up like yours :)

May have to give that a try, possibly a few cabe ties to tighten it down a bit, i do have a 24 pin braided extension that ive used as well. My previous thermaltake toughpower fitted behind ok though without any bother.

Another pair of nice pics w3bbo, are those zalman mfc1-plus fan controllers? if so they look beautiful in white. I have one in my Lian Li A70F, but its a very poor fit. You say you want to put some "proper pics up", tbh i think the pics and the video so far have been fantastic, really nice to see this project coming to a conclusion, and your overclocking results, (4.4ghz iirc), been a fantastic read mate, my favourite of your builds, cant wait for your next project.:)
 
as can be seen in the first two pics here my new 4870x2 totally blocked 4 of my 6 sata ports and ruined my neat cable management to boot :( (asus what were you thinking when you designed this board)





so now i have got a gtx 460 and even that is a very close fit but i can now use my sata ports :cool: pity i now have to get rid of the 4870x2 :(

i have also now found that i can't fit my x-fi xtreme gamer as installed in the only available pci slot (unless i use the one next to the gfx card and totally block its cooler so asus really did a bang up job designing this board:() it rests on the front usb and firewire connectors :(
