The New Cases Gallery

Don't blame ya - if they work, they work - as long as you don't find them fugly it's all good :)

As I've said before, they're not for me, but wouldn't the world be boring if everyone liked the same things :)

Haha yes! I'd not have bought them if the colour bothered me :p

At least it offends the eyes for some but the sheer awesomeness around them makes the colour mute :p

Just a few pics of my updated rig.

Same Corsair 600T SE but now with all mesh grilles cut out and the plastic slats on the removable grilles removed.

i7 2600k @ 4.5ghz @ 1.28v
Asus P8Z68-V Pro
HD 6970
8gb Corsair XMS3
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1tb x2

XSPC Rasa Acetal cpu block, Razor 6970 gpu block and an RS240 & RS120 radiators with Akasa Apaches.

That's one of the nicest looking builds I've seen in a while, and you're still running a CM ATC-201. Kudos my friend. :D

You will love the Asus GTX 570 Direct CU II, great overclocking and very quiet and cool ^^

16C cooler than my previous card and that's on the lowest fanspeed :) Also all temps across the board have been lowered several degrees

Think i will dabble with a bit of overclocking tonight. What speeds do you have yours running at?

Got some new fans for my case today ^^

i think you need a bigger desk lol

Yeah I was unimpressed so much that I returned it 24 hours later!

I'm going to find a way to tidy away the GFX power connectors, I must as it's now bothering me being the only cables not tidied away!

Edit* Done, easier than I first imagined!

Mmm, elegance!

Curious though, how breezy is that LED fan and the roof?

There is no LED fan on the roof! It's just a 200mm Corsair fan running at 50% speed (633rpm). Not exhausting as much air as intake of course as it's running slower but I wanted it slower than the rear fans drawing air through the H80 :)

That's the method according to the manual but you can use them the other way round. It's. To keep airflow in one direction rather than air being pushed into the middle of the case, this way is better.

I thought it was to ensure cooler air from outside the case being blown through the rad... though I guess if the air inside isn't THAT warm, it doesn't matter too much does it :)

IMO PC cases peaked with the ATCS series. Granted they are cramped and have poor cooling by todays standards but IMO nothing comes close to the quality of the build and design. True classics.

the fan stuff and airflow coulld be improved with a little modification, cramped is truue, although i did shoehorn an eATX Dual CPU board into mine, so cramped is a given at that point !

Sharp edges was something i could do without though, and for an ally case, when loaded - it weighed a tonne lol
