*** The New Cases Gallery ***

I wanted to move from a Corsair 750D that was sitting on the floor to something more compact and better looking so ended up buying an Anidees AI Crystal Cube White V2 and adding some RGB halo style fans to it. Might change the CPU fan to RGB too but just finished moving everything over and testing it all worked. Very impressed with the flexibility of the case.....plenty of options for upgrading.

@BeelzebubUK very nice and clean, the lighting looks great without turning it into a full RGB disco :D

@Shilz that looks great, always nice to see custom wc builds.. they make everything look very high tech. the only negative thing i see is that LED strip at the front which has a bend in it so its sticking out :p

Tempted start a "Show us your rear" thread. Were you show the other side of the case with the panel off :p

Still wrestling with my Phanteks Evolv X. Quite hard to keep tidy with cable extensions despite all the options.

Hmmm...

...problem? :p

I don't even want to show the rear of mine :D

I need to find a day to shorten and sleeve my cables. I've done everything I can up to that point. The InWin 301's cable management space is also the main extraction vent, so excess cabling is a problem.

Finally got the parts to finish my custom (mod I guess - custom cables and custom side panels for improved cooling) Dan A4. By far the most difficult build I have ever done - routing the cables and AIO tubing was a nightmare, and just relieved it posted and worked when I finished. Everything has to be done to the millimetre (or to save every mm), and almost each and every individual cable placed carefully to ensure it didn't snag a fan, or push a panel out... Even though the AIO is designed to fit this case, it really took some effort to make room for the PSU and cable plugs. 9700k with an Asetek AIO, 5 ghz all core over clock, EVGA 2080 and 650w PSU, plus 1tb NVME and 32GB of DDR 3200 CL 14. Really tested me today and I will no doubt be tinkering to improve tomorrow. (Sorry for phone pics!!)

How are the temps, @martin363 ?

so and so, the GFX is great, idles about 48c, and then looping in Heaven is stable at 82 - 83c and maintains a clock speed of 1920 MHz, the CPU is less impressive, 15 mins on realbench and it soaks to about 95c... but gaming and general usage is fine.

No OC and the CPU temps are more reasonable, about 75c to 80c in Realbench, but no decent air cooler will fit in this case, so the AIO is the way to go for the best results.

Could not live with that little beige & red monstrosity peeking out at me..I'd just look away in disgust every time It caught me eye :p

..but a serioulsy, a cool little build nevertheless.

Thanks for the feedback. Not too shabby all things considered!

Was just curious. Seemed odd to use an AIO in a position where it's struggling for air, when the CPU socket is so well ventilated.

No issues, half the fun is the challenge of doing the difficult. You have a fair point, the case is well ventilated, mainly due to the custom panels.

I could use a 120mm fan there on a cooler, but say I use a 15mm Noctua 120mm fan, I then only have 33mm for the actual cooler itself, and this assumes the fan is right up against the side panel. In reality this positioning is far from ideal as a fan right next to the side panel will create additional air turbulence, and hence noise. To reduce this noise the fan would ideally have a gap between the side panel and itself.

This is the fun on MITX, and why I like it. I could use a Noctua L9i cooler (I actually have one), which is probably the best cooler which would fit this case, but it again only has a 92mm fan (as does the AIO), and will not be as effective as the AIO. I also have a Silverstone AR06 cooler, which is a good cooler (better than the Noctua l9i), but wont fit in this case unfortunately at 58mm tall (and I am currently using it in my Ghost S1 Case). I would like to try the AR05, but don't have one.

I totally agree, the AIO is starved of air, but for general / typical use, so far seems to be able to cope, though you now make me want to go though the pain of rewiring just to test different air coolers!!

I may try to put another Noctua 92mm fan under the motherboard to draw more air though, but not sure this will be of any actual benefit and may just increase noise. I like small and silent, which don't really go together...
