It melts pretty much everything - it's an X-ray lens I think so sharpness was never really the priority, and it's fixed focus as well so most stuff is background haha

Id love to stack 2 2x on that 1700 beast for 6800mm f16. Imagine trying to MF at that FL each tiny rotation will move the in focus area by 10m or something ridiculous hah

Already have a f6.3 APO 670mm with 2x APO teleconverter... the sub f/1 seems interesting for astronomy!

There's also a super fisheye I'd add to that list (in the banannaz stakes).

Yeh, also got a 10 stop ND today, pretty impressed I can still auto focus outside.

I doubt there would be as the people who buy it would normally need it rather than want it. It is a focal length that is covered from your standard zoom so any landscape togs wouldn't drop the cash on it as a hobby when you are shooting at F/8 anyway. Which leaves the people who want it who need it for the apeture.

p.s. is that a CPL?

Wow, this is one instant where the Canon version is varstly cheaper.
