Wanted the 8-16 but thought it was a little pricey, so purchased the 10-20. Next day managed to get the 8-16 £40 cheaper then i paid for the 10-20 so thats going back! Plus it has some soft issues.

Flash is great!

Nice.

When I go for a wide, I am kind of stuck choosing between sigma 8-16mm, and the 12-24mm.

Both have their merits, and if I ever got tempted to go full frame, I wouldn't be able to use the 8-16mm...

But that 8-16mm would have come in so handy yesterday...

where did you get it?

I have one, both straps are pretty good, wrist strap is good for when you just want to hand carry the camera around + some safety, and the peak design system is a doddle to swap between them

Goodbye Nikon strap, you've been the talking point of many conversations out in the field!

Hello Cuff & Leash!

You can use this strap set in various ways because each end unclips, the "Leash" strap comes with 4 clips so you can use the spare 2 on another camera or device. I will wear the leash as a lanyard around my neck all the time and when I need to holster it around my neck will clip it into the left side of the camera.

The cuff strap will stay on the right as a wrist strap at all times.

Best of both worlds in an instant and when no straps are desired, just unclip :)

Such a brilliant innovation.

mrk & Janesy B: Import or from a uk supplier? so far I can only find one Uk supplier and the price is pretty much the same as the US other than £ symbol instead of $.

That looks really cool! I can only think of one use for it for my shooting and that's when exploring/climbing although I want to see how the wrist strapped way handles it first :)

Was import, took a few weeks to arrive as well!

How do you find the wrist strap? I feel I should get one because at the moment I just wrap my Canon strap around my wrist about 4/5 times to keep it on...

That's exactly what I used to do and it was fine this way but the main problem I had was when using a tripod or steadicam rig, the strap just flaps about and gets in the way. Now though this is not an issue :)

Having watched the video again, Capture v2 looks superb. It could be retrofitted to a rig very easily, hell; the FlyCam could do with such a plate!

In that video it showed an example of a what looks like a wedding photographer with two bodies and i oftern do a lot of neiling down for some of those shots and wondering if the bodies would get in the way?

I was going to order a Capture tomorrow for a walking holiday in the Dolomites which starts a week on Saturday - then I find the info about Capture V2. Decisions, decisions!

Yeah that would definitely get in the way kneeling down, their promo video of that tog was when they were walking which is not a problem. For kneeling you'd have to have Capture plate on the back of your belt not on the front or have a chest brace with a capture plate attached on a breast strap.

Everything else looked fine though!

pretty jealous ... I really want to pop in somewhere and handle a 5D to get an idea of how much bigger it is.
