Thanks! The Tamron definitely pairs well with a good prime and I can see it getting a good bit of use.

I took the 50mm out on Saturday and I couldn't believe how versatile it was! It's perfect for street (obviously) but it's also an interesting not quite macro option.

No, it replaced that X style which I had. It's a stand designed for the electric one, specifically for it. The piano is long out of production, as is the stand so it's very old stock, like 15years old. Pretty much the only one found online/in the world. They don't come up used because the stand gets screwed into the piano and the whole thing becomes one unit.

It is indeed lovely and well built but now I am wishing I had bought the 10l but perhaps it will make me pack lighter - I always take way too much stuff!

Yeah, should have bought the 10L. :D

How's the magnetic lock? I see you've got it on. Is it quick and easy to do up and unlock one handed?

I just got an email from DHL,

"Hello,
Thank you for your email. Please can you advise what the items are that are in this shipment?

Magnetic lock is amazing! dead easy to unlock or lock one handed. Get it somewhere near and it just jumps closed!
 
Finally, my shipment is out of Heathrow customs processing and has arrived at Heathrow sort facility. Just waiting now for it to change to 'out for delivery'.

I called DHL this morning saying I'm getting annoyed that it's still on hold at customs after I'd already sent them my proof of purchase yesterday and told them what items are in the shipment. I said I'm not Pablo Escobar. He was very helpful, said he'd find out and call me back which he did. He said he's now cleared it for me. I asked him why it had still been on hold and he was honest enough to say it simply hadn't been done yet when it should have been.

Sony A1 arrived yesterday, first pics i took are ones of pics of my old a7r3 going on eBay LOL.

THE GRIP IS AWSOME ON IT!!

It’s built like a proper tank now!!

Viewfinder is nice and finally the menu’s are fully touchable.

Will give it a proper go on the weekend if weather is fine for a photo walk.

Now i need a battery grip and cfast cards….

Wish they would release the A7R5 already

the A1 is a beast but out of reach for most
