For the price its cracking, it lacks cosmetic features like metal chassis etc, but its fine really, its light, feels okay to hold and use etc.

I'd recommend removing the stock Orange ROM and trying one of your own, but its entirely upto you, the Orange one works okay as well.

Two more things.

I have £20 worth of orange credit that i had to buy with the phone. What can i do with this considering that i'm not with orange and never plan to be?

What phone dialer is this? I much prefer it to smartdialer that is bundled with the Jellyfish Rom

Been running the new Kernel on Jap Jelly RLS4 since last night and it seems to have fixed most of the little issues like wifi not reconnecting on wake, lock screen freezes plus the backlight of the buttons now works.

nah it's the froyo default one..I just can't find it to download anywhere.

I don't like smartdailer which is the ZTE 2.2 app included in the jellyfish rom, but if i remove that then i've got nothing.

No idea, I have the Modacco 2.2 rom and its still slows down in places on games, and never really used it at stock...and i dont fancy using HW Acceleration? I'm guessing it clocks the phone without looking it up?

Dont get me wrong, its a nifty piece of kit, i love it

Well its the same concept of hardware acceleration in PC's, it uses the actual gpu rather than the CPU to increase performance I guess.

I believe it does but there are several posts in the modaco thread which suggests that HW is eating battery life in froyo.

I have installed root explorer to disable it as my battery life is dire when doing anything performance related. (googled for the latest 2.13 apk)

With data disabled and just making calls / texts battery life is easily 2 days. As soon as I sart apping it goes down by the min. Not even a joke it goes down so quickly.

Now HW is set to off I will see how the battery goes.

This is one of the reason why I found sebs rom to be the best as it didn't have HW enabled so battery lasted the longest.

What did people spend the Orange £10 credit on? If I just leave it there its going to expire.

Some people on Modaco said you can use it on betnow.co.uk, I know nothing about betting though.

Yeah i've got £20 sitting on a card somewhere, it's not even been applied to my sim. Would like to be able to use it for something useful

Got myself into a bit of a pickle here and was wondering if anyone could help me.

Finally put on the £10 credit that came with the phone. Had to register a new SIM card but luckily I could transfer my number and contacts over so I was well happy. Now I can't see any contacts at all but the weird thing is, if someone rings or texts me I can still see who it's from. It basically looks like all the data and information has been kept intact but I can't seem to find it anywhere on my phone! Using the RS4 Jellyfish ROM.

No idea if i'm using SIM or Phone contacts as i've looked all over the phone and can't find the option to switch between the t wo!

Also a quick heads up for the people that use Jellyfish. New release has been uploaded (RS5) with ABH and CPU overclocking available. Downloaded it already, currently waiting for phone to charge and then i'll be whacking it on. Note that you don't have to wipe if you're using RS4.

Just got a new one(finaly), after selling my oled I missed it, so now my X10 is going and I will run the OSF until I see a next gen that does a better job for a reasonable cost......
So this new one is TFT, yeah can see the colour differences, no worse then my X10 and i swear the screen is more responsive ?

Anyway Jellyfish RS5 downloading now
