Strange, for me on the Modaco Froyo Alpha 3 it is only up for a split second then disappears on its own.

Had to flash back to 2.1 for now.Dammit the desire's have a 99% stable gingerbread, yet the san fran is nowhere near to having a good release for froyo still.:o
 
I dont mind the lock screen tbh...Prefer a swipe from left to right one, but hey, this one works....

And your going to change ROMS just because of this? :p

The screen res is 480x800, however with scrolling homescreens if you go for 960x800 then you can select the whole picture to scroll across.

Search for 960x800 on google, might throw up something you fancy. 'Android Wallpaer' is another good search term to use.

How do you do your wall paper? I mean when you 'set' it? I find the selection method damn weird... you cant just go, oh look image 'set'...

Anyway, heres mine for now:

What do you have running?

Loads of apps or 'live' widgets?

Do you have Wifi on constantly? GPS? 3G and roaming etc?

I leave everything off unless i need it, it only takes 10 seconds to activiate it again, if that...My battery can last for a few days

Naturally when you play games etc the battery goes down
 
I have turned everything off and have it charging just now. Will see how it works out. It went from fully charged to flat in 23 hours and I never used it once.
 
The battery usually takes a few charging cycles to get upto full power.

Mine's been unplugged since Friday morning and still has 32% left. Haven't been using it much over the past couple of days tho.

Can you run emulators on this? I'd love to play Streets Of Rage on the San Fran if possible.
 
Does anybody have a mirror for this De-orangeated rom? The downloads links are throwing 404's for me. I bought the phone for my dad, so there is no point using any froyo alphas, it just needs to be stable but without all the orange garbage. Thanks.
