My money is on a £3000 price tag. If it isnt then its going to be awful and will have major flaws.
The original didn’t have a Mini LED backlightWhy do people assume its gonna be upwards of £2500?
The 2019/2020 model was around 1300 I believe, the price isn't just gonna double like that

Mini LEDS panels are the latest tech and very expensive. Even in TV world, its only the high end flagship models getting 2000 mini LEDs atm. LG just about to launch their mini LEDs and they start at £2k. Why are they double the cost of their other same sized TVs?
Totally different screen and tech, Your question is like saying why are there 32" 4k screens you can buy for £500 and others cost £3k when they are different panels.
This isn’t an iPad thoughYes I understand that, but look at the ipad pro for a price comparison.. That hasn't changed much vs the previous gen which didnt have mini led

If you look at the limited number of FALD monitors that have been launched, and the couple of Mini LED screens you will see they are super expensive. Time will tell of course, if would be amazing if it was the same approx price as the old G9 model, but I doubt very much it will be
Yeah thats fair, will have to wait and see.
Pricing it something ridiculous like 3k is so dumb though, I held off on the current G9 to get the updated version, so if they price it stupid like this its gonna be very frustrating. Even to spend over 1.3k I was very much doubting it as its a huge amount, but 3k is ridiculous
It is ridiculous. Prior to my last monitor which cost £1040, i was rocking a 6 year old 32" 4k 60hz Benq which cost £475. Was top tech at the time and if it wasnt for wanting more than 60hz and HDR I would still be using it now.
Well I've saved up £1500 for this bad boy and deliberately held off the current G9. Looks like I may need to save up more
Looks like you need to start up the savings account again kiddo, the price was just leaked on reddit - looks like it's going to be an insane $2700.
Release date is slated for September (so in 2 months)
Service Manuals are now on their site
So in uk, because of TAX etc, we're likely to see the same in £ too?
