The New Stargate Universe Thread

Yea that did irk me too - she was bleeding out and all of a sudden she's up and about and not in need of medical attention yet no one bats an eye lid ... hopefully future events regarding Chloe might go some way to explaining why that was the case!

Was a shame about Cmdr Kiva but I guess Telford was just a better shot than her in that split second!

I liked Simeon being introduced but it was a bit sudden, even so I look forward to seeing what Robert Knepper can bring to the show ...

I thought it was "alright" on par with a series 1 episode, not amazing.

IT also ended with an emo ballad which i lol'd loud at.

DONT DO THIS PLZZZZ

Hope it stays on track.

seems the ratings haven't been that good since its move to Tuesdays. 1st episode only got 1.175 million in the us, with the second dropping to 1.07million.

Not very reassuring since Mallozzi said that a third season depends upon the results of the first 10 episodes iirc. :(

Slight spoiler image in the link, but nothing big.

ahh well series is cack cos of him then i take it , some of the worst sg1 eps were his

One of the problems with the ratings for the 2nd episode back has is down to the flat out disapointment with the continuing episode on it's return.

The last episode of series before realy did have some nice pace to it, you tend not to notice the space opera drama being played out when they ramp up the stakes and pacing.

The series has unlimited scope to do anything they want, being the stargate universe... but i fear it'll be as up and down as the first series, aka one episode you might as well be watching hollyoaks in space, then the next will be top dollar fast paced sg/scfi.

They might cut it a bit of slack since they're aware of the strong competition of Tuesday nights (and the shortcomings of the Nielsen system).

To a certain extent it serves them right for cancelling Atlantis to get a poorer performing show instead (even if Atlantis was starting to flag a lot by the end) but I hate investing in shows only to see them disappear.

I hope they start exploring the ship in more detail and make some good episodes out of it, Atlantis had a lot left unexplored and that went on for 5 seasons, i don't want it to be the same here, i expect to see stuff like the bridge, engine room, science lab and any interesting secrets the ship may contain, so if they don't get around to it i will be disappoint. :(
