Didnt you post months ago that it had all been decided and they had the relevant authorisation to start developing?Looks like the club is still working hard to expand. They do not want to move.
East Stand could hold key to development of St James’ Park
Newcastle United are looking into the possibility of developing the East Stand as part of a plan to extend the capacity of St James’ Park.www.thetimes.co.uk
Not quite the same. Believe they have been working with stadium experts now and they have come up with the idea of rebuilding the stand with advanced glass techniques so it won’t block light onto the G2 listed building behind. Before it was a no go. Think they have to launch a year long study into it.Didnt you post months ago that it had all been decided and they had the relevant authorisation to start developing?
I don't think they have much choice really, the Exhibition park / Toon Moor scheme will never get approval. There isn't really anywhere else to put it and keep it in the city centre. There was talk of putting it where the arena is which would be ok as would rejuvenate that side of town but would still feel a bit isolated.
having watched all the preseason games, I think a few of you might be eating humble pie with regard to Anthony Gordon, he’s looking very fit and razor sharp
I’ve backed Clair Balding from the very start!!having watched all the preseason games, I think a few of you might be eating humble pie with regard to Anthony Gordon, he’s looking very fit and razor sharp
Yeah it's good. A bit slow moving and some obvious dramatic moments for the camera but overall we really enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next episode.Anyone watched the first episode of We Are Newcastle United on Amazon yet?
I’m out of the country ATM so can’t watch it, but it seems to have been pretty well received.
