I mean, if you buy a 3DS but no 3D games, surely that defeats the objective though

Mind you having said that, I can't see these coming down in price for a long while considering the predecessors are priced within reasonable context. So perhaps getting it now instead of later is not such a bad idea. Especially since you may want to part ex your existing DS before they come down in price when the 3DS comes out.
Well, just depends on what the PSP2 will be priced at. But if its supposed to be on "par with the PS3" (please note the quote marks), I cant see it going for anything less than £250-£300, which would ironically make the 3DS competitively priced at the £200 range.
The ninty fanboy in me wants one, but I cant justify it at that price...
....at least until I see it in action...
