The **Now Drinking** Thread

Innis & Gunn Blonde.

Well, I can see why people love it but it's not for me. It's not unpleasant, sure, but it doesn't do much for me. Too much vanilla for me. Is the original less vanilla'er'y?

Fozzy, that Old Crafty Hen looks interesting. Is it Old Speckled on steroids?

I'm drinking a bottle of Westons Old Rosie, and I carefully poured it to leave as much sediment behind as I could. According to the home-brew forums, Old Rosie is bottle-conditioned, so the sediment is in fact yeast. That means you can cultivate it - so I've got some apple juice in the bottle and once it's got lively I'll be adding it to a gallon for my homebrew :D

yes less, deeper flavor, very enjoyable.

apple and raspberry innocent juice.

I'll take that advice Dirty! Sounds foul to me. Got a Sierra Nevada Torpedo open now, MUCH better.

Sounds awesome Foz. Years ago, we used to buy 80 pint kegs of Old Speckled Hen from the brewery for house parties. It was always billed up as 5.2% but it was always way stonger when you got it home :D

Shame they dropped the draught version to 4-something% to make it more lunchtime-friendly. I used to like it at 5.2%.

It's really easy to drink but it does have an edge to it. :o

I think I should have left this until last. :)

Well worth a try though. It's currently £2.79 for a 500ml bottle at Tesco although it's still part of the 4 for £6 offer.

was down the pub before for a few pre ibiza bevvies. came home early to sort my bag out but couldn't be bothered (i didnt want a raging hangover either) so im having a few vodka and cokes to help me sleep. feels like the night before christmas :D

2 teaspoons of extra strength ALDI ground coffee, 1 tablespoon of coffee-mate powder, 1 teaspoon of sugar, pour in boiling water and stir until completed, whack in some sterilized milk. Done.

Best drink I've ever had, costs about 20p a time at the most with the ingredients, yet taste better than a £5 odd Starbucks!

16 year old bushmills with ice and a wee dab o still water. Took me ages to get a bottle, i wasnt gonna spoil it with tap water.
