The **Now Drinking** Thread

After hearing about it, I thought I'd give it a try...

...nothing great, no real ginger kick at all :(

I've tried a few of the alcohlic ginger beers now. Crabbies was absolutely foul, Ginger Grouse i thought was ok but a bit sweet. the nicest so far that i tried is called Ginger Beard by Wychwood brewery that i found in morrisons a few weeks back. It's less sweet and quite a bit more Ginger/spicy.

I'll keep an eye out for it, cheers :)

If you want to enjoy a cracking Ginger Beer, try the Williams Bros. version :)

This was nice though! Very nice.

I have a couple of others to get through now as well. One of my best men bought us a magnum of 2005 Cristal, which is nice.

Last night I enjoyed a bottle of Toffee Apple cider:

It's very sweet so you definitely have to be in the right mood for it, but it's very tasty!

For the ginger-beer lovers, have you tried Tesco's own brand "Simply Alcoholic Ginger Beer". It has a good ginger kick to it and pretty cheap at £1.50 / bottle.
