The **Now Drinking** Thread

If I remember rightly it tastes very "jammy" lol
Should join the Beers of the World were doing, chance to sample drinks you might otherwise not try, found some lovely ones so far. Found some absolutely horrendous ones too lol, If you're ever tempted to buy a beer called Casablanca because the label looks cool slap yerself a few times and run away :p

Just downed a bottle (in two large glasses) of no grape variety Californian white wine I got given at work. Pretty crap but it had to go as it has been in the fridge for a couple of months.

Talisker 10.

Had a big (and free) dram of Muckle Flugga yesterday afternoon. It was very, very, smooth. A great dram on a dreich Monday afternoon. Not sure I'd buy a bottle of it (£31 or so) but it was good, for a blend.
It's a blend of 6 single malts, which are combined, casked, and then shipped up to Shetland to be 'overwintered' which apparently speeds up the maturation process. I thought, as did the guy who gave me the sample (a specialist alcohol shop owner) that that was ******** but oh well everything has to have their USP. I've done some reading, and it turns out there's quite a story behind the name.
