The **Now Drinking** Thread

Was drinking some Bulleit rye whiskey my brother got me last night. I am more of an ale drinker than spirits, but this stuff was lovely neat with ice.

Being the forum chav, I was chavving it up in chav-erspoons yesterday when this guy at the bar ordered 2 pints of Carling. I nearly choked on my own drink when he was charged £6.50 - at £3.25 a pint it's now one the most expensive drinks they sell. Kronenbourg is cheaper FFS. Carling has always been **** water and it should be priced as such... like Carlsberg which is £2.29. I'm confused... :p

Just trying a couple of ice cold Heineken alcohol free beers. Pretty decent tbf. Nice clean crisp taste that actually tastes like lager.

They're one of the better ones, there are a few German 0% lagers about as well.

Been having a few tipples of Jim Beam myself this evening :p

£3.25 for Carling at Spoons, ouch! even all the local pubs and clubs round here charge less than £3 for that.

I prefer Alpine lager at the Samuel Smith pub, £1.40 a pint can't beat it!

Amstel in a red can and in a green can. They're bloody identical. I think the green can is for UK buyers and red can is imported. Dutch friends say red is their regular colour but I've only ever seen green

Currently drinking holsten pills. Got a week off work so going to try a different beer each day gone through all the polish beers any recommendations on what to try?

Leffe Royale Mount Hood, 7.4%.

Leffebeer that simply tastes hopped with Mount Hood hops - not your normal leffe at all. Very refreshing!

I used to all grain brew with mount hood hops.

I also have Leffe Royale Cascade IPA too :)

I don't drink much at all but I'm staying at a Premier Inn in Leicester so thought I'd pop into the on site pub and have a Stella. And a bowl of chips. It's stellar!
