Went to the local wetherspoons tonight for a couple of Xmas drinks with my mum. Had their new ultimate burger with chips and onion rings. Very nice indeed. The burger and onion rings were ace and the chips were pretty good too. Good size. Filled me right up. Can't argue for £7.25 with a pint of lager.

 
I think Whetherspoons burgers are brilliant, and like you say £7ish with a beer is absolutely bargainous.

Thanks. Only one place on Just Eat by me had Salt and Pepper Ribs. Never ordered there before but a feast is on the way now, including these two ideas. Thanks.

Just had an Indian takeaway, first in years, as I tend to cook my own. Have to say, this place is very bland and nowhere near to my dishes. Just goes to show mass produced vs home style BIR, really no comparison.

Just eating one of my favourite comfort meals. My homemade creamy mash with lots of black pepper, butter, milk and a sprinkle of salt. Steak pie. Freshly peeled and boiled brussels and carrots and corn cobbettes.
