i would be *now eating* some Jolly Rancher hard candies if Tesco wernt asking silly money for them, £1.50 for 8 sweets they're nice but i wont be ripped off!

Jolly Ranchers are back in the UK?! That is a bit steep though. You'd be better off buying them somewhere like here:

Well there is a gummy variation of them, but originally there fruit flavoured hard candies. They did bring them out in the UK ages ago, but sadly they disappeared again after a year or so. I think they taste great personally.

For dinner tonight we went to a local pub, I got beef and horseradish pie - delicious! Huge chunks of steak and really good homemade pastry. It was a big slice of a big pie rather than an individual one, which I prefer.

I love potato bread / scones. I get the Rankin Selection Irish Potato Farls from Sainsburys as a treat sometimes but they are expensive.
