The **Now Eating** Thread

A small special fried rice mix with a dab of onions, I kid you not having this with a mug of tea after each bite = heavenly! Leave the rice to fry a minute longer in the pan as well adds that extra bit of crispyness around the edges.

Tesco's finest belgian waffles, toasted, covered in chocolate sauce and lashings of whipped cream. There's 8 in a pack, I'm on my 5th waffle :D

Whipped cream < Fresh dairy cream though! :(

I've never really cooked anything 'decent' before other than the odd steak etc.

I got a Jamie Oliver book for christmas and decided to treat myself tonight. I've gone for the Guinness Lamb Shanks with sticky gravy!! I've substituted the Guinness for a real ale - Copper Dragon - Black gold.

The shank is now on the hob simmering away for 3 hours and it smells...and looks sublime! I'm actually a little proud of myself :p

Actually I normally buy whipping cream and whip it with my electric whisker, but I was lazy and bought an anchor squirt can. :o Tastes nice though.

Danish butter cookies, opened a tin just now. Gotta try and refrain from eating the whole tin. Theyre my biccy equivalent of pringles.

They're most awesome biscuits. I treat myself to a tin every now and then. Like probably tomorrow now that I've been reminded of them. I usually get them at Tesco, Sainsburys or Lidl. Great either dunked or not dunked.
