The **Now Eating** Thread

Indian for me tonight, easing myself into it as I’d have loved a Pathia but decided to go with Butter Chicken, Rice, Naan Bread, Poppadoms and Chilli Sauce :)




Flavours are there, chicken is lovely but my god how did this leave the restaurant so thin? (Contradicting myself but sometimes too thick and rich, but this isn’t a happy medium) Perhaps new chef but last few have been hit or miss.

My condolences on that curry. It has a nice colour about it, but it’s criminally thin. You sure you didn’t order off of the soup menu instead?

I crack the egg on the worktop (failure rate with a knife or pan edge can be high imo) and drop into a medium heat pan with a good amount of oil.
Once the outsides are firming I baste them with the hot oil and once the smallest amount of snot is left I turn off the heat and let them continue on their own.
