Ostrich in a brandy and peppercorn sauce with fries.
Where did you find such a small ostrich?
How was it?Got it from a restaurant that put a jus on it and charged me 45.50

Looks more like the wood pigeon special we ran last Christmas, we didn't charge 45.50 though
I do actually really like ostrich though, it's definitely the best of the "weird" stuff I've tried. Better than camel, kangeroo etc.

That would be a dish we would both order and enjoy tbh.
There was a butcher locally that did real cuts of all of those a few years ago and then he decided to retire and now we are left to scrape bits from the supermarket.
The supermarkets at one time did a decent selection of meats (roo, croc, bison and the like) but sadly it died a death and yes, Ostrich is one of the best.
