Last week also went to a Palestine/Lebanese/Syrian Restaurant, got their version of a mixed grill.
The gf had some chicken Freekah (I think that's the name)
Another meal was in this tagine. Lamb under all those vegetables.
Another meal went to one of my favourite, it's like a kebab shop with a lot more options of traditional food.
These balls are basically kebab meat with onions, in some breadcrumbs and deep fried.
These leaf wrapped rice is addictive
I got to find out what this drink is because I love it.
And pistachio and almond pudding.

This cheese probably shines within a cold sandwich but never the less I enjoyed it!

Being tesco, it probably means mega rip off compared to last year.
Ref: Last year a 130g sausage roll was £1.00 - This year it is a 100g sausage roll for £1.30
Scrolling down through @Raymond Lin's post to @robfosters is what makes this thread so special.
It's a pretty big cake for one thing. And it's got some chunks of Belgian chocolate in it. The last chocolate loaf I had was from Aldi which was lovely, and this one is different but also very nice, a more silky texture perhaps.

Nothing wrong with franks, egg and chips Baz, quality comfort grub, none of that foreign muck.
My post was in no way a slight on your tea Rob - I love a sausage, egg and chips as much as the next person. And while it was meant to be funny, my post was also 100% sincere. The fact that we can go from Raymond's Mediterranean delights to sausage, egg and chips without anybody batting an eyelid is wonderful.
I love this thread but sadly I'm too greedy to think of taking pics of my food before eating it.
