Sitloin steak before and after adding the peppercorn sauce. Got it on special from Tesco's.
DISCLAIMER: This was the first time ever that I have cooked a sirloin steak for myself. Its once in a blue moon I even eat steak and its usally at restaraunts. Having one at my dads for Xmas Dinner put me in the mood to try making it for myself. I rubbed both sides with some oil and added some black pepper. I pre-heated frying pan to highest heat and gave it one minute on both sides, then lowered it to a medium heat and did another 6 mins on each side. I was going for a medium to medium well cook. I think it turned out quite well.
Still more pink in the meat than I was expecting there to be and still nice and tender. Not something I would cook very often, but made a nice treat
