The **Now Eating** Thread

My brother just cooked a 5 course meal for my grandparent's birthday. No pics, unfortunately. Quick run down though:

Chicken with foie gras
Scallops with pickled cucumber & apple
Sous-vide beef with cepe & snail ragu
Berry compote and sorrel sorbet
Mango & passion fruit souflee on creme brulee'd mango with coconut sorbet

Lovely!

Making home made buffalo wings for tea, pictures to follow.

pistachios, asda is good for some thing. they do all nuts in bags of 40g for 50p each.
why cant other shops do this, its a snack, I don't need a 100g bag or bigger.

Do you mean "and" mango creme brûlée?

Woops, didn't mean mango creme brûlée. Meant to say "brûlée'd mango".

^^ Damn that sounds like a heck of a feast! I'm guessing he must be a trained chef?

Only thing I dont like the sound of is snail ragu.... ick!

He's not actually a chef, but he's very enthusiastic and does a lot of cooking. He actually runs a restaurant and occasionally a pop-up or two. Have a look here.
