Just waiting for home grown pots to boil to mash and another layer of crumble to bake in the oven

Feel like I've been cooking all day
 
Mushroom risotto with toasted Chorizo.

Made from scratch with porcini stock and dried porcini and everything, cost me like £20 to make, needed wine, risotto rice, double cream, truffle oil and all sorts, who says home cooking is cheap lol

Got up not long ago and now having some late lunch.
A few slices of Pandan Chiffon Cake with tea :)


Wow - that cake looks errrrr "interesting" :confused:

Love the Winnie the **** mug too :p

No pictures but just finished a Sunday dinner of sweet potatoes, cauliflower cheese and filo pastry parcels filled with asparagus & cheddar :D

Pandan leaves are green, hence the green colour of the cake :p It comes from a tropical plant called Pandanus amaryllifolius. (Panda anus teeheee :D)

It is nice, but I can do better. It didn't have much off a BBQ taste, nice subtle flavours though. Does he cook over coals, need a more smokey flavour IMO.
And got a bottle of his holy **** sauce, haven't tried it yet though.

Yup yup - I googled it and found that out. Hoping one day I'll get the chance to try it out :)

You must have, or at least I'm sure you would have tried something that was pandan flavoured. Pandan is very popular in the far east :)

I've been meaning to get down to Brick Lane to try this, but it doesn't really sound like it is worth it.
