The price depends on the weight/size of the durian. The one I picked was probably around 2.5/3kg.
This ons is £37.99

Edit - you live in Manchester? There will be plenty about then Are you near Wing Yip, W H Lung or Chinatown?
Also pick up some Laksa sauce, fish tofu, cuttlefish balls, pandan mantou and prawn shui gao while you're there as wellThat is kind of expensive, yeah
Yup. I work about 5 minutes walk from WH Lung (at the University) and it's not that much further to Chinatown. Wing Yip is a bit more of a trek but doable. I need to pick up some gochujang soon so I'll stop being lazy and pop in to WH Lung (though I don't remember seeing durian there previously to be honest)

Let me know if you find durian, I'm curious to know whether you would like it or not
I use this stuff. I can't seem to find other brands in the shops so I just buy this brand.Lol, that's quite a hefty list of things to try
I guess laksa sauce is basically a laksa curry paste kind of thing? Laksa is awesome so if there's a brand of sauce/paste that is good I'd love to get some in.
I've had prawn shui gao before (it was a while ago but I remember liking it).
Is fish tofu the stuff talked about in this blog post? http://casaveneracion.com/fish-tofu/ Sounds interesting...
Pandan motou and cuttlefish balls both sound interesting too though what I'm really in the mood for is some tempura capelin roe (I can't find the name for the dish - but it's capelin that are pregnant and deep fried... it's so unhealthy but so good).
Bacon sandwich
had another fully loaded box meal for lunch

Yep that is the fish tofu stuff. I always make Laksa with coconut milk, fish tofu, cuttlefish balls, beansprouts, scallops, prawns and 'tofu pok'... Omggg so tasty!!
Just had a go ahead raspberry fruit bake. All this food talk is making me hungry now >.<
No eggs of potatoes?
Sadly no
What exactly is "eggs of potatoes" btw?
It's something only special people and the privileged know about.
