Took my mum for an early dinner at the Waterside Inn. Forgot my phone, so no pictures this time. I had pan roasted scallops to start, with chorizo, sun dried tomato and rocket. For main I had slow cooked pulled pork with dauphinoise potato cake and apple tempura fritters. I've had this main before, but somehow it wasn't as good as previous times. The pork didn't seem as well cooked. Pity... And for dessert I had toffee marshmallow cheesecake with pouring cream and a glass of prosecco.
The beginning and end of the meal were great. Shame the bit in the middle was a bit of a let down. Oh well. Still a great place to go for a meal.
