All the back street indy takeaways I've ever been to always serve proper size chips although done in a deep fat frier. The fries I got from this new kebab shop were the skinny french fries like you get from McDonalds/KFC.

On the plus side, least the kebab meat must have been OK as I haven't needed to poo it out yet. :o

yep, BK's burgers do taste better and the salad they use is ~2 weeks fresher than McDonalds lol, but they cost quite a bit more,
also with BK burgers i quite often find small hard bits in the patty, like little bits of bone or smth :confused:
whereas ive never found anything like that or gristle in McBurgers

It's silverskin (or tendons or...etc) rather than bone....but I agree, it's not a super awesome thing to deal with when you eat a burger.

Just finished the rest of the bbq from sat.
Chicken wings in coke, jack Daniels and BBQ sauce (you have to try that it's amazing, splash some together then reduce down till it's a sauce)
BBq beans
And fried some potatoes and corvettes to go with it.

i didnt have gravy, and even if i did i didnt like it

erm, yeah.. i had kfc today :D
 
I love weeks off, can actually have proper breakfasts. a few new potatoes, corvettes, mushrooms, jerk chicken thigh lightly fried together.
Awesomeness.
 
Damn it!

Just made a Cajun sausage and bean casserole for tonight, but I've put too much spice in and it's bloody hot. It's almost madras level.

You can't tone spice down at all can you.
