Yup..as you get more towards Bolton it gets a lot more northern :p

I'm from South Manchester - far more posh :p

When I was younger I thought all chip shops also sold Chinese food. It wasn't until I left home that I discovered the truth...

Sorry I only lurk in this forum, but Little Hulton! OMG I'm from Walkden (down the road), hope you have retrained her well :P

And you can't beat any of the above stuff you listed, food aint the same down here:(
 
Such a fail day today with regards to food/exercise. Hopefully going to get a quick go on the turbo to rescue it a little but it's still not going to be ideal.
 
Curried pineapple fried rice again. This time with prawns and scallops :)

And it could have been so good, leeks in white sauce and rice. Hell you don't even need the fish in that combo.

Pfffttt barm cakes! wtf are they ;)

To be honest I don't mind any of the made up words for bread "cakes" (bread cakes, stotties, cobs, barm cakes, rolls, buns etc)

But living in yorkshire (and not being a yorkshireman)

ITS NOT A TEACAKE!!!!!

I'm sick of telling yorkshire folk that I don't want a bacon teacake, only for me to be told that that would be a "teacake with currants"

Argh teacake annoys me so much. A teacake is not a bun or bap - this is a teacake:

Worst part about moving to Yorkshire
 
Chicken breast and broccoli. Fun fun! One more meal like this today then I'm gonna drink 10 cans of beer and eat a 14" pizza whilst watching the rugby :cool:
