Flat iron is pretty similar to skirt - super lean with a very strong beef flavour. I think even a wagyu flat iron would have virtually no fat on it. I might have to go out and buy some for tea next week actually...

My wrestlemania snack. 2 Aberdeen Angus burgers with cheese, onion, lettuce and burger sauce. Don't look much, but they are definitely better than Maccie D's

Nice, had home made burgers myself, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, burger sauce, cheese and candied bacon. Was awesome ! No idea why the wife put the salad bit's on the bottom but it worked.

Thanks, it was pretty tasty! I love lunches like this, so simple and easy to make yet so tasty

Tomatoes are just roasted. They taste sooo much nicer in salads when roasted!

After 26 days on the rig and 2 to go, I'm having to ration the home-made (and home-grown) Habanero hot sauce. Must bring a bigger bottle next time. In fact, I'll have to bring a few as it seems to be popular and a couple of guys have already asked me to bring them some. I haven't been using it that much up until now but it's only after using it regularly I'm appreciating just how good this is. It's delicious (even if I do say so myself

).

I had some on a burger this evening and it lifted an already decent burger very nicely.
