The **Now Eating** Thread

I started buying these whenever they're reduced. Absolutelu scrumptious. The base is more like a very crisp biscuit texture, amd the pecan tart is very gooey and completely divine. :) Highly recommended.

Beautiful

Browned off with S&P
In same pan fried off onions red and white, carrots and turnips
Couple of tins of toms
Beef stock
Cooked for 6 hours
Dumplings & baked potato

Fantastic, just fell apart, so rich and warming...........

Sounds damn tasty. I might have to get some more ox cheek for the weekend.

I actually fancy getting a mix of pork and ox cheeks and smoking them now I think about it.

My kebabs taste wayyyyy better than the shop bought ones! ;)

Dessert time! Not as awesome-looking as BennyC's desserts but it will do....

I'd totally be up for that but most of you are alllll the way down south :p

I've got 700 kcal left for the day. You're not helping me resist going to the shops and buying some ice cream :(

You can always make it a weekend trip and plan other things!

There's a programme on bbc1 at the moment about calories. Might be interesting to some people here :)

If you're offering to cook :) Abusing everyone's hospitality without having to repay it sounds even better to be honest. The chances of an OcUK visit to Manchester seem quite low so I'd be off the hook for quite some time.

What's the programme btw? I'm often a bit leery of TV shows about nutrition but it would be interesting to check out anyhow.
