The **Now Eating** Thread

Just made some little haddock nuggets. Basically just chunks of haddock, in a beer batter and then deep fried. Served with parsnip chips, peas and a slice of lemon.
 
Mackie's Haggis and Cracked Black Pepper flavoured crisps. They are terrific. Not sure I can justify the price very often but they are very good.
Recommend by Pieplough.
 
My first go at Jerk Chicken.

Use my first ripe scotch bonnet from my plants, effin hot!!

Just made an amazing chilli. Was the first time I used star anise in it and it really worked. Gave that nice, mellow, liquorice flavour which really complemented the other flavours. Also used haricot beans instead of kidney beans (a failure of shopping by me!) but they were actually really good.
