The **Now Eating** Thread

Tired of burgers  saying that if takeaway burgers from chip shop/ kebab place their normally utterly ****. Good luck depending what you are trying to do get myfitnesspal to track. I've been keeping to 1900calories through the app for almost a month.

Protein fluff, pretty good. Need more flavouring though, 20drops of flavouring wasn't enough. Quite similar to angle delight.

Chicken katsu and rice tonight.

I only ever go to ikea for the hotdogs, I think the last time I went I paid 50p each, had 4!

Yep, very cheap. £1.30 for hotdog and fries. There's this very attractive female at the table in front of me, standing side on and stuffing a hotdog into her mouth. It's erm..quite a sight :D

Delicious home made katsu curry.

Sous-vided some chicken thigh fillets that had been brined with pickle juice for a few hours.

Slowly browned off some onions and carrot. Added fresh ginger + garlic. Added a cheaty Chinese curry paste. Added chicken stock. 5 minutes before serving also added thinly sliced carrots, mushrooms and chillies.

Took the chicken thigh out of the sous-vide, salted and floured, egg wash, dipped in panko bread crumbs, shallow fried.

Served the sauce on jasmine rice, added sliced katsu chicken, added shredded spring onions.

Damn tasty.

Sorry, I noobed up /re pics :(

May have tasted similar but this was definitely less well presented :p Mine was more a case of "pile tons of food on the plate".

Kept it simple tonight, just stir fry with added beansprouts, water chestnuts and noodles in chow mein sauce (all we had in). Filled the gap :)

I was thinking of a trip to ikea for some hotdogs but thought to myself it's too much of a trip, so i've got 12 hotdogs and that's what i'm having for dinner. :)
