When did Ikea start doing food?! I thought they just sold furniture. My nearest one is London mind, and I'm down south and never set foot in one personally, so... no first hand experience!

I was again gifted with a Patisserie Valerie cake this morning. Absolutely yummy! The thing is, I want to give the rest away, I'll never finish it. If I could email cake, you'd all get a slice. :)

Lovely looking cake! :)

Honestly didn't want to get a pizza for lunch today, but made the mistake of forgetting to prepare food for my meal break at work today. Started super early, so none of the shops had opened when I was on the way there. And the canteen was closed cause its the weekend. So it was pizza or starve for 8 and a half hours. It was nice, but a bloody rip off. They had no good meal deals that weren't collect only, so I had to pay £16 for this :(

Got one of those new Italian style pizzas there doing, with the onions swapped for salami. Comes with a little bottle of chilli oil. Tasty, but potent stuff. I barely used over a third of the 15ML bottle and my mouth was burning afterwards.

Pork steaks, chips and peas for dinner. Really tasty. Just like eating pork ribs.

And yes. No gravy!

Freeze it :)

I wish I had a freezer. :( My icebox could take a few slices, but it needs defrosting so I might end up throwing the cake after tomorrow. I've just put it in the main fridge compartment for now.

Why were you gifted a patisserie valerie cake?

BTW I always found the patisserie valerie logo to look like a vagina.

Lol, it does look like that, as well as being a can-can girl.

My neighbour upstairs seems to have taken to giving me cakes as his wife works as a manageress of the patisserie.

You are missing a trick here:

Periodically take said cakes in to work for the office staff.
White lie you bought it for your colleagues as a treat because x y z
Take a few slices home with you.
No cake goes to waste.
???
Profit.

Maybe just a bad pic? It looks like this pizza has barely any topping on and is mostly dough.

Dominos aren't exactly known for generosity with their toppings, but it wasn't mostly dough. It could be the Cajun spice covering it that's making the toppings harder to see.
