Pictures do make them look dry I agree, but they weren't. They're from the Morrisons eatery, I took my mum shopping and she bought us tea.

It's Korean and it says "Ramen Kimchi" on the front.

Ahh, you have a picture of the container? I picked up some kimchi ramen the other week (I'm a massive kimchi addict!) and wonder if it's the same or a different one. Might try mine with pork next time I get some (I only have extra hot ramen in my cupboard at the moment - they are intense but good! )

Ooh, no. Different to mine. The ones I got were in a cardboard pot and had a totally different design. If you recommend those I'll pick some up next time I'm in our local Korean supermarket (pretty sure I've seen those on the shelves but always gone for the pots rather than the packets). Cheers!

Do you have the one call Shin ? I tried that one, too much heat, not enough flavour for me.

Yeah, I tried a few of the Shin label. Some are fairly mild. One was so hot my nose was streaming by the time I finished it and I could barely feel my lips! As my wife said - why did I even finish it?! Well, I'd started...

Pretty sure this kimchi one wasn't Shin though.

I'll take a photo next time I'm in the shop.

Not quite. Two 20" pizza's don't equal 40". It's closer to 28".
