Been doing some more testing in DA:I between the 344.80 and the latest 347.09, there's a good 10-15fps difference on the mins. Not only are the 344.80's smoother but there were no drops below 60fps in the three-four hours I played, even the same areas as the 347.09's
The 344.80's are my Nvidia driver of choice at the moment which is what I went back to
Currently on 344.75 should I be on the new ones?
Not the very latest, no. But the 344.80 driver, yes.
Yeah, I swapped back to nvidia for better drivers and smoother experience.... Looks like I picked worst possible time to do that
Remember 780s being flawless. Hope it's just a driver thing and not something more fundamentally wrong with maxwell...
Any difference from the beta 347.09 drivers to these?
Yeh, with previous drivers never dropped below 80, to be honest it was over 100fps+. Used these betas and performance dropped noticeably, from stutters to about 55fps mins. Always clean install my drivers, every time
Back to 344.80 and perfect again
still on 344.80 as i play DA:I
are the new WHQL drivers anygood in DA neil?
GeForce Game Ready Driver
Version: 347.09 WHQL
Release Notes: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/347.09/347.09-win8-win7-winvista-desktop-release-notes.pdf
Reinforcing the fact that WHQL means nothing, as these drivers are poo! Certainly, at least, for SLI and DAI
I'm currently on 344.75 and have no issues (that I am aware of) on my 980. So am I right in sticking with these and not going to the latest 347.09?
