**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

To install those drivers you need to do the following...

Command Prompt - Admin

bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

Reboot -> Install Driver

Command Prompt - Admin

bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF

Reboot ;)

Mine installed fine just by following Cyris' guide in the link, no Command Prompt needed. Been running fine since this morning :)

353.62 was just crash crash crash crash crash:

My min fps has gone up (again) with this driver in Thief. 353.62 29.1 now 31.7 and 32. Even the max is 61 fps with this 353.75 driver. Keep it going! ;)

Short: win 8.1 beginning 5 fps min then with "magic" nvidia driver went up to 15 fps. Later around 19 fps with driver update. With win 10 ended up so far 32 min fps. BTW my rig is running slower under win 10 compare to win 8.1. I have been lazy to setup the CPU OC.

Think I read a page or two back it was something to do with win 10 and bf4/hardline...

More info needed, crashing whilst at stock or is the card clocked at all?

@ 1450/3700, i have had it in 3DMark and Unigine Heaven loop @ 1550/3700 with no volts or extra power, its perfect....

I think i may have been too tighter timings on my system RAM, 9-11-11-28 @ 2133Mhz, i have loosened them off to 11-12-12-30, i will play it later tonight and post back but i'm pretty sure that was it :)

Yup! any unstable clocks whether it be Ram,Cpu or Gpu, and BF4 will sniff them out. Don't use 3dmark and heaven for stability testing as they're not harsh enough on the cards. BF4 and the likes stress the cards in different area's than the performance benchmarks.

You shouldn't have to be that drastic with the ram, what's the xmp rating? Try 10-11-11-28-1T, failing that try bumping dram or sa volts a touch.

Out of interest, what are peoples stock voltages???

I am now using K Boost to get some stability in 353.62 however my stock voltage is 1.2060 @ 1392 MHz (my cards stock boost)

1.21v, however I need a constant 1.275v in games to stop the dreaded grey screen of death, driver crash. As the volts do not work correctly at such a high overclock without it. It's actually a pretty common thing to do :D ( Kind of like using Kboost but without the forced clocks )

How are you getting on with the modded Bios?

I have been putting it off for a while now but might have to push the button and mod it.

However the fact that I do have a low stock voltage for my 1392 MHz is a bit odd.

However it does not like any voltage increase.

Kingston Hyper-X Savage, i had them on 1866 with those timings which is stable, i turned it up to 2133 and forgot about the timings.....

Same but my stock boost is 1354Mhz. it was supposed to be 1253Mhz (Gigabyte WF3x OC GTX 970) i have been running it at 1450/3700 very comfortably, it doesn't seem to need any volts, not even at over 1500Mhz

Ah I have similar dimms, though mine are hyperx beasts, similar stock timings though, iirc with some voltage adjustments I can go 24/7 with 2400-10-12-12-30-96-1T or 2133-9-11-11-28-81-1T, I found system agent voltage to be the most helpful. May be called I/o depends what platform you're on.

Benching they'll do 2400 8-10-10, but only just stable enough for a pi32m run :p

Do love a good memory tweak :D

Windows 10, mine don't run at 9 CAS Latency at anything over 1866 with any volts.

They are rated for 2400Mhz and i have had them running at that and more but i can't tell any difference in performance so i just run them pretty middle ground generic 2133 10 or 11 CAS Latency with 1.6125v, they are happy like that and so am i.

Guys quick lazy question have Nvidia fixed the "display driver has stopped responding windows has recovered from a serious error" issue with the latest batch of drivers? I need to know before I upgrade.
