**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Guys new to the greens after nearly 9 years of being a red! Got the latest driver installed 353.62 is it worth using the GeForce experience App to optimise games? or just do it manually as I have always done?

I used to use it for optimizing, then tweak from there, but since moving to Maxwell it just globally enables mfaa, which appears to do nothing other then stop games launching :p

My GeForce experience is telling me there is a 355.60 update available but when I go to download it cannot connect to Nvidia ?

I cannot find anything about a 355.60 driver ?

Well latest drivers installed 2nd time round. 1st time they just uninstalled, but no install. Now it says I can't optimize my games because I have a 980Ti :).

But at least it installed a 3D Vision Photo Viewer! So all is well...

Maybe there will be a new version of GFE following on from this driver.

I think it is good that Humbug has gone Nvidia and I wish more people would try the "Enemies Cards", as then they would have more of an understanding on what is what and what is better than the other. Sometimes we stick with what we know and keep life simple but some like to improve their knowledge, so well done Humbug and hope you have a good time on Nvidia :)

It has its up and down sides just like AMD cards only in different ways.

I was Happy with the PCS+ 290 until it failed me and i'm happy with the Gigabyte GTX 970, i'm keeping it until 16nm Cards arrive.

I was never adverse to proudly owning an Nvidia card, Greg, i will use whatever is best regardless of Brand/Vendor.

Good man!

The 970's a good package, hence why they're still so popular.
