i have tomb raider DLing on steam now - how do you think a single overclocked 980 will fair at 1440p?

Well a single 980Ti manages around 55fps at 1440p, so the 980 will certainly drop to the 40's for averages I think.

The 'Eject GPU' item can be completely removed by going to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm key in the Windows Registry and setting SurpriseRemovalSupport to 0, then rebooting.

If your on a G-Sync monitor is will play very smooth. I'm on a Gigabyte Xtreme 970 with Asus ROG Swift 1440p and it plays very well so a GTX980 should be a little better.

Anyone else tried the Division Beta? It's looks and runs rather well. Had one crash to desktop, but the game really needs a better SLI profile.

100% maxed at 1440p with Supersampling, NV PCSS+ shadows and all the goodies maxed I get anywhere from 48-90fps. It fluctuates an awful lot. G-Sync keeps it very fluid and nice, but a friend without G-Sync says the fps fluctuations are extremely stuttery.

Also interestingly enough running at 1080p with a single GTX 980Ti with Supersampling and PCSS+ off nets the same performance as SLI 980Ti's at 1440p. So scaling is there, it's just meh.

Any with SLI issues on Rise of the Tomb Raider should check this out. It greatly increased scaling for me.

So much better now. 60fps 3840x2160p at very high with triple buffered Vsync is now a reality.

Is it me or does those graphics on the divison look god awful ? seems like another con like watchdogs . it looks nothing like it did 12 months ago . I had a feeling ubisoft would so this . the more i look at them the more i want to throw up .

I'm sorry you see it as hate speech - I run multiple Windows 10 as well as 7 (and 8) systems and none of my criticism of the OS comes lightly.

Do we think 361.75 is worth going to or is there a few minor bugs and due a hot fix shortly? Can't stand messing with drivers if the ones I have are good.
