**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Losing about 5fps with these in the division beta.

I know it doesn't seem a lot to complain about but when running the game on full ultra at 1440p it matters as it can cause it to dip below the gsync range.

Anyone else find that Rise if the Tomb Raider is laggy after the latest 'game ready' driver update?

I had everything maxed out on my 980 @1400p, and not once did it feel laggy before the update.

Anyone getting random driver crashes just watching vids on the desktop? Had 3 or 4 last few days for some reason. Not updated my drivers in a bit but its only the last few days this has started.

Thanks

Nope. What program are you using to play videos ? Also is the program using hardware acceleration (GPU) or on CPU only ? Also the format of the file being played .

More info mate, pc's have millions of combinations of software to do the same tasks.

I was getting a bit of slow down in Rise of the Tomb Raider with the stock BIOS. 3440x1440, everything on max. I flashed them both with the EVGA SC BIOS and have noticed a massive improvement. May be worth considering for anyone with a stock BIOS and too lazy to overclock the cards.

Scaling however isn't brilliant, sits between 50% and 99% usable, average seems to be 60-70.

Also If you are using SSAA and have low frames/scaling. In game, Switch to SMAA, apply then switch back to SSAA. It's a bug.

I've tried the profile, can't say I notice much of a difference.
If SSXA is 2x I get about 40fps, if it's 4x I get 30fps, if it's SMAA then 60+ and extremely smooth.

Is there much noticeable difference between SMAA and SSXA at higher resolutions? Can't say I've looked for any difference so haven't noticed anything.
