**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I've noticed the difference in performance too. Its a lot worse for me in most games, BF, BO3 and even FIFA 16.. which is a weird one as i've never had a problem with FIFA 16 in 4K since the day it came out.

Now i can't run it any higher than 40FPS where before i got a solid 60 (locked with rivatuner)

Ironic you all mention this, I was noticing some heavy stuttering in Borderlands 2 on the main menu on my media PC the other day, which I was thinking must be power related, GPU just not strong enough or otherwise, as the PSU that system runs is a tad borderline.

Now I'm wondering if actually Nvidia's drivers having something to do with it as I'm sure I'm on 361 with that system. May have to revert to 359.06 WHQL and test again.

Anyone else who's been reverting, is this the last WHQL before performance drop?

My wife's machine runs a 670 as well, so potentially will downgrade her machine for her just in case.

Not sure if the last one, but I used it as I still had it in my downloads. Certainly I've had issues with the last few.

Yup. Just create a profile for the game and set the Monitor Technology option to 'Fixed Refresh'.

I must have overlooked "Monitor Technology" all sorted now, Thank you!

Why oh why would you not run G-Sync

From memory csgo more fps faster responses. And faster bullet travel?
The engine can go to 500fps

Something along those lines yeah, I just know no sync technology is ideal to use in Counter Strike.

Try installing it manually.

Had that problem with the drivers before the most recent, Only fix I found was to uninstall GFE and download the latest from the main site.

Unistalled and downloaded direct from nvidia and still get the same thing.

Will try a full reinstall of the latest drivers.

EDIT: repairing Net.framework 4 resolved the issue. :)

I'm getting a lot of BF4 crashes with the latest 361.91 drivers.

Any known drivers to work really well with BF4 at the moment?

Has anyone here experience an issue like this? I am considering resetting Windows 10 using it's reset reinstall to rule out Windows install.

My media/game box has a 750TI 2GB, along with an i3-4130, 8GB RAM and an MSATA SSD, should be more than enough for some medium end gaming. Except it's not running quite right. I first noticed it in Borderlands 2 where it was causing hitching even on the menu screen with your character but then noticed it in the GPU-Z when its graphical test is running full screen (looked like screen tearing/juddering despite the fact it should have been Vsynced!)

I'm seeing what I can only describe as frame drop or frame desync, and vsync not working right (still seeing tearing). The machine is not crashing.

I've tried resetting the BIOS of the machine, and using different drivers to eliminate these, with no improvements. I've tried monitoring the core clocks using GPU-Z whilst in game, and they SEEM stable.

I still intend to try connecting a different monitor as opposed to my soundbar/TV, a windows reset reinstall, trying the GPU in a different PC, and a different PSU, but I have to admit this is the first time I've had something quite like this! I'm not ruling out the card being faulty either as the card is new; I've only had it perhaps a month tops, and haven't had much chance to use it!

Anyone else had this and got any thoughts?

Just if anyone has a similar issue...

Decided to fire up GTAV, got board inside 20 mins, turned it off, randomly every game would default to disable gsync when opened, would stay at gsync on desktop, open games - nope.

Rebooted, no gsync wouldn't enable at all! Brilliant.

Updated drivers from 359 to 361 and everything is back to normal.

tl;dr: GTAV broke 359 and killed gsync.

See the series of posts on the previous page about the latest drivers causing performance issues.
I'm running 359 with no issues
