Just got the notification.....

Back on green now, where is all this new stuff Nvidia promised? not that this is why i'm back with team green...

How come you went from a 5700XT to a 2070S?

Because Nvidia don't allow their AIB partners to get away with haphazardly screwing junk coolers to their GPU's. i have been getting increasingly annoyed with trying to keep the ASRock Challenger D 5700XT temperatures under control and finally blew my top, seeing red went straight to Amazon and bagged a 2070 Super from MSI, i had one of their GTX 1070 and it was brilliant, so here we are.... https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/msi-rtx-2070-super-gaming-x.b7142
------------------

On another note Nvidia's UI is decidedly dated and horrid, the user experience in the software matters Nvidia, just saying.

AMD, sort your ######### AIB partners out with this crap ####### coolers!

Fair enough. :)

I'm still rocking the same 1070 you had, the Quicksilver, great card, it'll do me until the 4 series is out!

I went for an RRP Asus TUF 3080, and we all know how that went for most consumers, I refuse to pay above RRP.

pretty crap wondered why it only started happening.

Windowed NVIDIA G-SYNC is Disabled for Multimonitor System Video Playback Issue Beginning with Windows 10 April 2018 Update (RS4),
NVIDIA G-SYNC is disabled during active video playback on multi-monitor systems. Explanation If hardware accelerated video is playing on one display and an application is launched on another display in windowed mode with NVIDIA G-SYNC or adaptive-sync enabled, the video stutters. This is the result of desktop compositing on displays with differing refresh rates.

To prevent the video stutter in this scenario, the driver disables NVIDIA G-SYNC during active video playback, but re-enables G-SYNC if the video is paused or closed.

Note: The issue can also occur when displays are set to different refresh rates, even when G-SYNC is not used. To resolve in this case, make sure all displays are set to the same refresh rate

this is so annoying when having youtube/netflix on the secondary screen... & launching a game. not buying a second 4K120hz monitor to fix it.. :/
