***Edit*** Ran LatencyMon while playing No Man's Sky again last night and I have pretty high latency again although it's nowhere near as bad (doesn't go into the red) as with the new Nvidia drivers. This time it seems to be caused by my motherboards network drivers which I updated at the weekend so I guess I will have to remove them and reinstall the older version and check again. This is all a pain in the butt, why can't things just work as they are supposed to?

NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 536.09

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 536.09 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 535.98.

This hotfix addresses the following issue:
  • When using multiple monitors which support adaptive sync, users may see random flicker on certain displays when G-SYNC is enabled after updating to driver 535.98 [4138119]

- Do be aware that this is a bit early for a hotfix as there are multiple CRASHING issues that need fixing
 
Never again will I update via geoforce experience.

Black screen on reboot, ended up having to start in safe mode and use a system restore point to get back to desktop.

Not sure if it's my system, or Nvidia just being.......Nvidia. :rolleyes:

Try installing the studio drivers :)
 
i use nvcleaninstall so i can disable everything apart from driver, physx and nvidia control panel. all the telemetry and **** nvidia hides in there can do one

I think it's a lottery on which driver to use.. They all seem to have their issues..
Nvidia the premium product.. don't make me laugh..
Those long standing issues are just a joke and a company the size of Nvidia really should be dealing with those in one or two driver updates..
