Hey mate do you know why are these a separate branch from the main driver? Does the main driver not offer Vulkan support?

Separate branch but more towards Vulkan development, such as Studio drivers being catered more towards Studio work. All drivers work perfectly in games but in terms of stability they go as follows

1) Studio Drivers
2) Vulkan Drivers
3) Game Ready Drivers

Nice one, the Game Ready ones make the most sense for me then.

Latest one has been good, have a weird vsync problem on The Last Of Us, but that is probably the game :D

Solution, don't use vsync, not needed if you have a VRR display these days :p

I have not had vsync on in anything since getting this monitor and have never seen any issues with motion or tearing^^

Reflex on in game sthat have it of course, DLSS enabled where necessary (path traced games or for the superior AA vs TAA/MSAA/native lack of AA etc).

Still don't know about this.

Everything points to still force on vsync on nvidia control panel and nothing since shows otherwise :/

Yep. I have had it on in ncp and off in games. Works perfectly fine like that. Not seen anything showing otherwise.

The latest driver update from NVIDIA, version 535.98, introduces some interesting changes that aren't listed in the release note:

File Size Reduction: The file size has been significantly reduced with this update. The new file size is 653.5MB, representing a decrease of approximately 23% compared to the previous version (532.03) which was 855.18MB.

GPU Decompression Optimizations: The 535.98 driver incorporates GPU decompression optimizations, building upon the improvements introduced in the 535.50 beta version. These optimizations are specifically designed to enhance the performance and efficiency of Gen5 SSDs.

To gain a better understanding of the enhancements and witness the benefits firsthand, you can watch the video linked below, which highlights the GPU decompression optimizations for Gen5 SSDs:

Manuel@NVIDIA said in regards to Geforce Experience/Filters:
We checked in some general improvements in this driver but there was a miscommunication which is why it was mentioned as fixed in the release notes as fixed. As I stated last week, we are still working on a complete fix.
